FAQ
Is the venue accessible to everyone?
The Grand Quay is accessible to all, including people with limited mobility. The main entrance on the second floor can be accessed via the elevator at the Port Centre (entrance on de la Commune W.), which leads directly to the Promenade d'Iberville. A universal entrance is located on the first floor (door 1, East side). Ramps, elevators, and other accommodations ensure a comfortable experience for all visitors.
How much time should I plan to visit the fair?
We recommend allocating at least one hour to explore the galleries of the Terminal. However, most visitors tend to extend their visit to several hours to fully enjoy the experience and activities offered.
Are there food options available on-site?
Yes, several food options are available during the event. Two cafés, located on each floor of the fair, offer drinks, pastries, and sandwiches for a quick break. For a more substantial meal, a restaurant area is set up in the Pavilion on the second floor, offering a variety of dishes.
I’m looking for a quieter time to visit the fair; is there a dedicated time slot?
Yes, a sensory-friendly hour is scheduled for Sunday, April 13, from 10 to 11 am, for those who require a calmer environment. This time slot is dedicated to individuals from diverse ability backgrounds (e.g., people with disabilities or reduced mobility) and neurodivergent individuals who may feel overstimulated by crowds and noise.
Participation in the sensory-friendly hour is available by reservation only. If you are interested in attending, please send your request to info@agac.ca.
I would like to bring my child; are they welcome?
Yes, children are welcome! Entrance to the fair is free for children under 12. Please note that no specific activities are planned for children, and the visit may be long for younger ones. However, rest areas are available on both floors, allowing families to take breaks and enjoy the event at their own pace.
Do you offer wheelchairs for visitors?
Yes, wheelchairs are available for free at the fair’s coat checks, located near the universal entrance (door 1, East side) as well as the main entrance on the second floor.
Are dogs allowed?
With the exception of certified service dogs, animals are not permitted to enter the fair.
