The Blue Building Gallery

The Blue Building (TBB) is a contemporary commercial gallery led by artist Emily Falencki. TBB is located at 2482 Maynard Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia on the traditional unceded territory of the Mi'kmaq. TBB opened in February 2021 collaborating with internationally acclaimed artists with strong ties to the Atlantic region. Today, the gallery continues to grow and supports a wide variety of artists at many stages in their careers. The ethos of TBB is one of collaboration and excellence. We offer artists a commercial platform on which to present their work and create opportunities for dialogues about the critical issues that inform contemporary art practice and our everyday lives.
