COOPER COLE is pleased to present a dynamic selection of contemporary lens-based works from gallery represented artists at the 2025 iteration of Plural Art Fair.
Featuring Jorian Charlton’s bold investigations of identity and race, Sara Cwynar’s meticulous explorations of consumerism and technology, Timothy Yanick Hunter’s compelling narratives around history and representation, and Eve Tagny’s introspective engagements with memory and personal mythologies, this curated collection offers a diverse, multifaceted look at the ways photography challenges and redefines our understanding of the world. Each artist brings a distinct perspective, blending visual aesthetics with critical inquiry to create work that is as thought-provoking as it is visually striking.
The gallery will also present a special installation of sculptures by Toronto-based artist Marvin Luvualu António. Titled, Condos, António's towering acrylic boxes serve as intricate vessels, encapsulating a dynamic mix of collected objects, personal belongings, and urban artifacts, which offer a compelling reflection on the fast-paced transformation of major metropolitan centers. Through Condos, the artist invites viewers to consider how personal histories and communal narratives intertwine within the structures we build and the spaces we call home.
Works by Gabrielle L'Hirondelle Hill will also be featured in the special exhibition, The past tense is always longer, curated by Anaïs Castro.
