Founded in 1996 and established at its current location since 2002, Art Mûr is a commercial contemporary art gallery. With seven exhibition rooms totaling 14 000 square feet, Art Mûr has become an essential pillar of the visual arts scene in Canada.
The gallery represents around thirty artists, most of whom are featured in prestigious museum collections. Art Mûr stands out as the only Quebec-based commercial contemporary art gallery to bring together as many Quebec artists as talents from the rest of Canada, while ensuring gender parity among its ranks. The practice of the artist represented by Art Mûr encompasses a variety of mediums, including painting, sculpture, photography, new media, and performance.
